Max McNeill

Max NcNeill (SE 76-78) is the founder of Ultima Business Solutions Limited, one of the UK's leading IT solution providers. After leaving Rossall, he continued his studies before relocating to the South East. After a short stint in accountancy, he decided it was not the career for him and he moved into IT sales for a number of companies before founding Ultima in 1990. His business provides IT solutions and services to private and public sector clients and has 350 employees and a turnover currently exceeding £100 million. Max has a passion for horse racing and owns eight race horses which have achieved success at courses such as Cheltenham, where he has a box. The success of the company has allowed Max to follow his passion for horses, as well as to support his favourite team, Blackburn Rovers.
